Fred
I hate to speak ill of any fellow Tennessean, but Fred Thompson looks like Death warmed over. I'm confident that's what America is yearning for: The skull that walks!

Suzy and I attended a rally for Fred on Saturday night on the Lawrenceburg Square. About 7500 attended. Fred was about 1/2 hour late and spoke for about 10 minutes. Said nothing of importance and stayed just long enough to shake hands with the big doners. We watched it all from the second story window of Moore's. Howard Baker at 84 years of age looked more fit than Fred at 65.
